Throughout my childhood, numerous photographers and videographers were present at events in my home, capturing the moments for posterity's sake. Some of these photographers were friends to my father while others were hired professionals. They carried video and film cameras and whenever i saw them, i got curious and fascinated by them. I would ask several questions, trying to understand how they use these devices to take pictures and videos. Some of them would explain their techniques to me, which only fueled my curiosity further. I began to realize that capturing a moment is not just clicking a button or recording a video; it is much more than that, it requires skill, knowledge and creativity. It is also about having a story to tell, a dream, a vision, passion and an eye for detail.
When i came to the USA in 2003, one of my friends bought a Canon EOS DSLR and showed it to me.It was the first time, i had ever touched a DSLR camera and taken some pictures. From that moment on, i knew that i wanted to get a DSLR camera for myself someday. My dream came true, when i bought my first DSLR (Nikon D5100) in 2009, when my first son was born.
